Sony Ericsson has unveiled two new smartphones - Xperia Ray and Xperia Active models, which will be available in the market in the next two months.
The Xperia Ray has 3.3 inch 854×480 touch display. It runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 and a 1-GHz processor, features an 8.1-megapixel camera and HD video functionality. It has a 4GB microSD memory card, expandable to 32GB.
The Xperia Active has a 3-inch, 320×480 touch display and runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 via a 1GHz Scorpion processor, Adreno 205 GPU, and Snapdragon chipset. It sports a 5-megapixel camera with HD capabilities, a 2GB memory card expandable up to 32GB, and micro USB connection. The phone is dust and water-proof.
In addition to the Xperia Ray and Active, Sony Ericsson also introduced two new accessories: the LiveDock multimedia dock and the LiveSound headphones. Both are also expected to be available in Q3.
